    About Oddmar

    Follow Oddmar on his adventure through the mythical world of Vikings. Explore vibrantly crafted Nordic lands in this action-adventure platformer. Oddmar is a story-driven adventure game, playing the game along with story connects the player with the characters. Oddmar's story, beautifully illustrated as a motion comic, is narrated by Julian Casey (​We Happy Few,Assassin's Creed series) and written by Frank Gibson (​The Amazing World of Gumball comic book series).The game's music, composed by Pär Svensson, incorporates Nordic folk instruments to complement its hand-animated visuals and Viking theme.     Oddmar struggles with life in his village and is not worthy of a place in Valhalla. He is shunned by his fellow Vikings and must redeem himself of his squandered potential.     What makes my game unique?

    Oddmar is a work of art in every way. With beautiful, handcrafted levels and characters, fluid animations, uplifting soundtrack and smooth gameplay, Oddmar is a joy to look at and play. Every detail of the game has touched by artists and designers. Oddmar offers variety on level design, art, animation and characters. We introduce new components for the player in every new level of the game, for instance, rolling rocks, rivers, balloons, riding animals and boss fights. This design approach makes player surprised and challenged in every part of the game. Also, this level of quality was achieved with a very small team (team of 4) of dedicated developers and artists. We hope you'll enjoy our game, as much as we enjoyed making it.

    Why could my game win an award?

    We pushed the limits of the Mobile devices without giving compromising on design. We did not take the route of creating a free-to-play game because it would endanger the game design of Oddmar. This approach allowed us to focus on experience-based gameplay instead. No microtransactions, energy system or advertisements. Also, we fundamentally believe that a game must be designed specifically for the design approach of the platform. So we made sure that the game would play well on mobile devices of all sizes and that the controls are comfortable and synchronised with the level design. Oddmar content does not stop with the initial release, we are planning to keep updating Oddmar with new content for the future, we are adding new levels, new modes, new companions to ride and bosses to fight.
